Over $1000.00 in prizes ready to be given away at the Attendance Recognition Ceremony tomorrow (Wednesday, June 14) at 11:30 in assembly. For every month a student had perfect attendance their name gets put into the draw for the prizes. Also three students will be recognized for the PRPS Trustee scholarship awards, Remembrance Day poster contest winners revealed, the Schulich Leader scholarship handed out and the Open Circle scholarship for accomplishments in CTS will be won. Parents and community members are welcome to join the assembly.

Mark Wednesday, June 14th on your calendar! Our Junior High CTF students are having a market! Check out their businesses that they’ve created and the logos they’ve designed! Market will run from 1-2:45pm and will be held in the library extension at SCHS.

Congrats to these ladies on an amazing season! Being a young team - with only four high school students on the roster and the rest Junior high - these ladies did not disappoint! They battled hard and we are all so proud of them! Thanks to coach Shaune and coach Pat!! FYI.... SCHS Parents please note this information for your students. Any current grade 10, 11 or 12 student who would like to collect summer work experience credits, please see Ms Peers for forms and guidelines starting tomorrow, Wed., June 7. The firm deadline to sign up and submit forms is June 21 - after this date you will be out of luck - NO last minute add on will be accepted. (If you are unsure, it’s better to sign up now.)

SCHS has some Beef Jerky left for sale, to purchase please visit the library. 14$ pkg. Last day to purchase will be Friday June 9th.

The Scorpions/Badgers athletic awards ceremony along with Badger billet appreciation night will be on Tuesday, June 6 at 6:30PM. All are welcome to come celebrate the success of all the athletic achievements in 2022/2023.

Scorpions softball defeat Bassano 15-7 in their home game. It was great to see so many fans out supporting the girls. The winning pitcher was Kailyn Thornton. Also pitching was Avery Girletz, Jersey Girletz, Olivia Wagstaff and Logan McLean. Kayci Peacock and Bella Kovitch had two hits each in the game. # forgefutures #myprps @prairierosesd8
