Spring is in the air, and that means we’re starting to plan for next year’s programming, including our academies. If your son or daughter is considering joining the Southern Alberta Hockey Academy next year, join us for a free on-ice trial Wednesday, March 10th and Friday, March 12th. Bring your equipment and let Mrs. Hagens know if you’re interested!

Monday: scrapbooking club 3:30-5. Bring your supplies. Students can make cards for 50cents each.

Reminder: after school sewing today. Learning practical skill of sewing on a button and making button holes. Projects will begin and class will run for 5 weeks. 3:30 - 5:30

Scrapbooking Club will begin on Monday, March 1 after school (3:30-5:00)!!! We’ll be making cards on March 1, so feel free to come out and give it a try to see if you enjoy it! No need to bring any photos the first week!

Here is a schedule for the Jr. High. All Sr. High core classes will run at their regular times. Also, if you are in Foods, check with Mrs. Hauck; she has some delicious activities for you to try at home.

Good Morning! As indicated in the communications from Prairie Rose last night, will be doing our best to provide online lessons and content. Our focus will be on the core classes. The schedule will remain unaltered (unless your teacher indicates otherwise in Google Classroom). The school IS open today if you need to get your books or Chromebooks, but STAY SAFE and warm. We will manage with whatever supplies you have at home.

If you build it, they will come! Our very own field of dreams is under construction. Prairie Rose, the WD Hockey Academy, the Oyen Fire Department, Oyen Minor Hockey and the Town of Oyen have come together to make this happen! This shared space will be a win for kids of all ages in our community! A HUGE thanks to all of the volunteers who have spent the day jump-starting the project!!

Grade 8 entrepreneurship class is looking for half cup and 1 cup canning jars. We would like 20-30 of each size for a project. If you can donate jars please call the school or drop off.
